*EXCITING AND RARE OPPORTUNITY* Seeking Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join rapidly growing multi-specialty surgical group. Seeking skilled clinicians to partner with the clinical team in delivering the best-in-class patient care. Room for growth opportunities within leadership and investments in future career development training.

Looking for a team-oriented clinician to join our practice. This is a rare opportunity to join our family-oriented practice that is on the verge of expansion. We love to promote from within our organization and are looking for an experienced PA/NP to grow with us.

Looking for clinic PA or NP for hospital/ surgical or hybrid based on candidate’s preference/ skills. Also offering a desirable 7 on, 7 off work schedule for hospital based if preferred. Clinic based schedule is M-F. (Limited availability for hospital-based PA/ NP) Clinic based PA/NP will be expected to rotate to all clinics as needed: Porter Ranch, Valencia, Tarzana and Sherman Oaks.

Job Duties

  • Delivers top notch and highly professional patient care to patients and provides the best experience to their families while in our clinic/ inpatient setting.
  • Assess and diagnose patient conditions and develop and implement a treatment plan in collaboration with physicians.
  • Provide personalized patient education and counseling to patient and family member/ caregiver.
  • Consistently exhibits behavior and communication skills that demonstrate commitment to superior customer service, including quality, care and concern with all patients.
  • Closely monitors patient safety at all times
  • Work closely with all surgeons and communicate timely and professionally to ensure care continuum for all patients is met.
  • Adheres to all required documentation within EMR and ensures professional and timely completion of all notes.
  • Strong ability to respond quickly, effectively and with equanimity to member crises and life situations.
  • Adheres to Standard Precautions and safety policy and procedures at all times.
  • Uses, protects, and discloses organization’s patients’ protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards.
  • Assists clinicians and colleagues in responding to patient surgical care
  • Participates in all mandatory training and meetings.
  • Actively provides feedback to physicians for improvements in procedures, policies and patient care.
  • Commitment to your continued education for all disease states and procedures.
  • No night call coverage.
  • Completes all documentation and notes in a timely manner.
  • Available to team members by text message during off hours.
  • This is not a surgical PA position- practice is open to transition to surgical PA in the future for the right candidate.

License / Certification / Education

  • Current California PA/ NP License
  • Board certified PA/ NP
  • ACLS

Experience Required

  • At least 1-2 years experience – Primary Care, Surgical Specialty, or Urgent Care
  • Considerable knowledge of anatomy and physiology

Compensation:

Compensation is negotiable for more experienced candidates and sign-on bonus for experienced candidates. Our employment package is very competitive.
