SCMSC adheres to strict cleaning protocols to help prevent COVID-19

SCMSC adheres to strict cleaning protocols for the health and safety of our patients and staff.

COVID Protocols

We have implemented a strict protocol with advanced telephone screening for all patients who need to have physical in-office appointments.

Our office has always (even prior to COVID-19) met the highest standards of cleanliness and sterility by strict protocols that we adhere to on a continuous basis as it pertains to our exam rooms, front lobby, doorknobs, restrooms, and surfaces that are sanitized after each encounter. Furthermore, all patients are screened at the door prior to entry into our facilities and everyone’s temperatures will be taken at the door prior to entry to the office.

The protocol is strict and is fully enforced, so our patients know that if coming to the office is required, we have taken every step possible in making it a safe and healthy environment.

If a patient is experiencing any symptoms of fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath or has traveled outside the US or recently been on a cruise ship, etc., they are directed to contact the Department of Health (DOH) and directed to the nearest Emergency Department.

Telemedicine Options

We are happy to inform you that we are also offering telemedicine services through Skype, FaceTime, or Messenger for non-emergency visits which do not require face-to-face contact or leaving the comfort of your own home.

We appreciate your patience and understanding during this difficult time. Rest assured that your well-being and surgical needs are of utmost importance to us. We will do everything we can to ensure prompt service during this challenging time in all of our lives.
