Meet Raquel Torrez-Birkland, a board-certified Physician Assistant with a specialization in general and vascular surgery. Born and raised in the vibrant city of Los Angeles, California, Raquel’s journey in the medical field is marked by dedication and academic achievement. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from UCLA in 2012 and furthered her education by earning a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Sacred Heart University in Stamford, Connecticut in 2020. 

With a background in orthopedic medicine, Raquel leverages her prior experience to ensure thorough and well-informed medical assessments for each patient she encounters. Operating in close collaboration with our esteemed doctors in the clinical setting, Raquel consistently endeavors to provide every patient with the utmost respect, empathy, and evidence-based medical care.
