Racquelle Thieling
AGACNP-BC | Nurse Practitioner
Racquelle Thieling is a board-certified adult-geriatric acute care nurse practitioner who joined Southern California Multi-Specialty Center in 2022. She was raised in New York where she received her undergraduate degrees in Health Promotion in 2010, and Health Administration in 2012. After working in the business side of healthcare, she decided to enroll in New Jersey City University’s accelerated nursing program where she received her Bachelor’s degree in 2013. She decided to further her education by attending UCLA’s School of Nursing for her Master’s Degree, completing her training as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in 2019. After graduating, she worked with USC Keck School of Medicine as an inpatient surgical nurse practitioner specializing in general surgery, colorectal surgery, and plastic surgery.
Racquelle is a member of several professional organizations including the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, California Association for Nurse Practitioners, American Nurses Association, International Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association, Sigma Theta Tau, and Society for Vascular Nursing.
According to Racquelle, “My goal when I entered healthcare has always been to help people; to be able to provide care to those that are in most need, to be the voice to those that cannot speak, and to educate those who need to understand their health condition.” Racquelle has worked towards this vision by helping organize clothing and toy drives after Hurricane Sandy, participating in medical missions with Operation Walk (a non-profit organization that provides total joint surgeries in countries that have no access to life-improving care), and volunteering during New York Health Expo with the American Diabetic Association. She is proud to have received the patient-nominated and highly coveted Daisy Award for Excellence in Nursing twice.
Racquelle brings the same goals and vision to Southern California Multi-Specialty Center by combining 14+ years of experience in healthcare with her passion to help people through advocacy and education. Racquelle will assist in coordinating care among all specialties to address current and future needs as well as provide patient education for preventative care.
In her spare time, Racquelle enjoys photographing her son’s adventures with food and travels. She is fluent in Tagalog and Ilokano, and has lived in North Africa, the Philippines, and New York.
